Mpeg-nh2 is one of the monofunctional methoxy polyethylene glycol derivatives with terminal amino groups. Amino groups react rapidly with succinimide NHS ester, carboxyl group and many other amine reactive functional groups in aqueous buffer or organic solvent. Amino functional peg can be used to modify proteins, peptides, antibodies, particles and other materials through its free primary amine group. The amino end of the product has higher activity for acylation reagent than for hydroxyl group, so it is easy to carry out reductive amination reaction. Using the reactivity of amino group, other molecules can be linked to it by forming stable chemical bonds (such as amide bond, carbamate bond, urea bond and intermediate amine bond). They can be used to prepare ligands with bioactive compounds, carriers for peptide synthesis, polymer grafts and PEG coatings, and PEG glycoprotein ligands.

Storage condition:

NH2-PEG-NHS should be stored at -20℃. Desiccate.  Materials may be handled under inert gas for best stability. Re-test material after 12 months.
