PLA has excellent biodegradability, and can be completely degraded by microorganisms in the soil within one year after disposal, generating CO2 and water, without polluting the environment. It has good mechanical processing performance, low shrinkage rate, and can be used for most synthetic plastic applications. It is widely used in the production of packaging materials, disposable tableware, home appliance shells, fibers, 3D consumables, and so on.
