Description:

Cy5.5-PEG Biotin is a fluorescent biotin PEG reagent, which can be used to detect antibiotics, Streptavidin or neutral biotin. Cy5.5 labeled PEG biotin is a near-infrared fluorescent dye with strong fluorescence emission at 694nm when excited at 675nm. Cy5.5 PEG biotin can target and bind avidin, Streptavidin or neutral biotin with high affinity. Under the Cy5.5 channel, the generated complexes can be easily detected using fluorescence instruments. The PEG junction between Cy5.5 and biotin groups provides better water solubility, reduced steric hindrance, and enhanced stability. Fluorescent PEG biotin dyes can be directly used in water-based buffers without the need for any organic solvents.
