Description:

N3-PEG-NH2 is a click chemistry PEG reagent, which contains an azide and amino group at the end of each PEG. Click chemistry is one of the popular PEGylation reactions, which is used to add PEG to biomolecules, particles, surfaces or cross link two molecules and particles, or to form hydrogels and drug delivery systems. PEG connectors have good water solubility, small steric hindrance, and enhanced stability. Compared with other click chemistry reagents, azide polyethylene glycol amine is soluble in water, and all reactions can be carried out in water buffer without any organic solvent. Amino groups can be conjugated with functional groups for reactions with acids, NHS esters, and other amines.

Azide groups are prone to react with linear alkyne groups under the catalysis of copper catalysts. It can also react directly with DBCO without any catalyst. At the same time, amino groups can also react with carboxylic acids, succinimide NHS esters, aldehydes and many other amino groups. The PEG linker between azides and amine groups has good water solubility, small steric hindrance, and enhanced stability. Compared with other click chemistry reagents, azide polyethylene glycol amine is soluble in water, and all reactions can be carried out in water buffer without any organic solvent. Amino groups can be conjugated with functional groups for reactions with acids, NHS esters, and other amines.
