Storage Conditions:

BOC-NH-PEG-NHS is a commonly used crosslinking agent, which is a type of PEG derivative with heterobisfunctional groups The active ester (NHS) PH7-8.5 reacts with the primary amine group to form stable amide bonds.

The protected amino group is deprotected under mild acidic conditions, allowing it to continue to react with substances with carboxyl or active ester groups. BOC-NH-PEG-NHS can be used to modify proteins, peptides, and other active group materials or small molecules. Polyethylene glycol (- PEG -) can increase solubility and stability. Reducing the immunogenicity of peptides and proteins can also inhibit the non-specific binding of charged molecules on modified surfaces.

Boc (t-Butyloxycarbonyl) is an abbreviation for t-Butyloxycarbonyl, which is a commonly used amino protecting group in organic synthesis, especially in peptide synthesis.

Upper protective group: amine interacts with di-tert-butyl dicarbonate (i.e. (Boc) 2O) and weak base (such as potassium carbonate, triethylamine, etc.). Two phase reactions can be used, such as DCM and H2O systems.

Deprotection group: treated with hydrochloric acid. The products are isobutylene and carbon dioxide gas. Tert butoxycarbonyl is used to protect amino groups.
